This article does do a very good job of discussing sleep in children from birth clear up until the teen years. I had hoped since this was a toddler insomnia problem topic that it would focus more on toddlers but it seemed to focus more on newborns and older children. I did however like how it went into things like night terrors and gave several suggestions to help your children sleep if you are having problems. One of the best things about the article was the table that lists how many hours a sleep a baby/child/teen should have and how many naps and what duration. There are a ton of links within the article some of which I went to like the night terrors link and they are also very information. Great article.

This should be required reading for every parent! There is some enlightening and crucial information here. I know several adults who seemingly don't care about their children's sleep patterns, and seeing this website just impresses upon me how very different children and adults sleep patterns are. Parents, do yourselves a favor and read this in its entirety!

Great article - a must read for all parents. I really liked the dos and don'ts section.
